Obituary of Allan B Davis

DAVIS, Allan, 91, passed away in St. Petersburg on March 27, 2024.  He is survived by his wife Judy, children Martin (Robin), Gerald (Shane), Jennifer, grandchildren Max (Ryan), Ian (Carlea), Hannah, Abby, and Arri. Allan was a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg having graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1950, avid Double Gator fan having graduated from the University of Florida in 1954 and its law school in 1959.  Since graduating from law school, Allan specialized in real estate law until his retirement in 2011.  He was loved by his clients for his legal ability and sense of humor.

Allan was a native son of St. Petersburg and very proud of his family heritage in our community.  He was active in civic and philanthropic organizations, providing leadership and legal counsel.

Grandchildren are the love of his life. They traveled with Judy and their grandchildren to visit great locations all around the world. Allan and Judy attend every family simcha. Allan was a student of history and current events, an avid reader and part time golfer.

Judy and Allan were married for over 65 years.  They marveled and appreciated the growth and vibrance of downtown St. Petersburg and moved downtown into the scene early to enjoy the action.

Memorial service is being held at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Avenue, St. Petersburg at 10:00 am on Sunday March 31.  Following the service, a graveside burial service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Road, Largo.
